GSA Seeks Photographer to Capture Homeless Walk in Leesburg
The Good Shepherd Alliance seeks a photographer to cover the 4th Homeless Walk for Shelter through historic Leesburg on Saturday morning, September 20.
Help us celebrate our 25th year anniversary with the community in meeting the needs of the homeless and indigent. This is a family event to benefit homeless and indigent families.
Volunteer is required to be available at 8:00 AM for pre-registration check-in until 10:30 AM when the walk will be completed. Location is at the starting point Douglass Community Center, 407 E. Market Street Leesburg, Virginia.
Photographer would first take pictures of church congregations, civic groups and prestaging activity. Then follow the walkers over the historic 1.2 mile walk west on East Market to Loudoun Street, then on to King Street, through historic Leesburg, back to East Market , then over to Harrison Street and back to Douglass School.
