Bulldogs find new homes

Five Stone Bridge baseball players announced their college destinations in a ceremony at the school June 16.

Bulldog baseball coach Sam Plank spoke briefly yet effusively about the five graduating players, two of whom -- Ty Weaver and Tyler Basso -- will be attending West Virginia University, Plank's alma mater.

Mike Stancik will take the field for Longwood University. Matt Irwin has elected to play at Greensboro College, while Brian Wheaton will suit up for Texas Lutheran University.
