Virginia Q. McKimmey

Died June 22, 2008

Homemaker, Lucketts


Virginia Quesenberry McKimmey, 77, of Lucketts, died June 22.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 25, 7-9 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leesburg Union Cemetery.

Mrs. McKimmey was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Lucketts to the late William S. and Rosa Hollandsworth Quesenberry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. McKimmey.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda M. Herndon of Leesburg and Angela M. Pratt of Lucketts; five brothers, James Quesenberry of Roanoke, Archie Quesenberry of Brunswick, Md., and Verlie Quesenberry, Junior Quesenberry and Abie Quesenberry, all of Lucketts; three sisters, Lucille Cooper of Leesburg, Edna Frye of Lucketts and Lorraine Loy of Clarksburg, Md.; and eight grandchildren.
