Teacher
Keith Malcolm McBride, 69, of Cross Junction, a teacher, died June 27 at home.
Friends may call Friday, July 4, 1-3 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home in Winchester. A memorial service will be held July 5 at 11 a.m. at Opequon Presbyterian Church in Winchester.
Mr. McBride was born in 1938 in St. Johnsbury, Vt., to the late Carroll R. and Doris McBride.
He taught science at Foxcroft School in Middleburg for 31 years before retiring in 2004. He also was a member of Opequon Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Kendra Funkhouser McBride of Cross Junction; two daughters, Kirsten Ioos of Raleigh, N.C., and Karen Gattuso of West Point; a brother, James McBride of Vergennes, Vt.; and two grandchildren.
