Patricia E. McGuire

Died June 25, 2008

Art collector, Hamilton

 

Patricia E. McGuire, 88, of Hamilton, died June 25 at Sunrise at Countryside.

Mrs. McGuire was born Oct. 18, 1919, in Pittsburgh to the late Paul H. and Elizabeth McDonnell Franklin.

She taught English in high schools in Pennsylvania. She also was a weaver and a collector of Navajo art.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Russell W. McGuire of Hamilton; a son, Diarmuid R. McGuire of Ashland, Ore.; two daughters, Shannon M. Sollinger of Hamilton, and Sheila A. McGuire of Woodstock, Md.; and five grandchildren.
