Obituary

Myrtle 'Louise' Thorpe

Died June 27, 2008
 Myrtle “Louise” Thorpe, 46, a lifelong resident of Loudoun, died at home June 27.

Mrs. Thorpe, known to many as Louise or “Weezee” was born Aug. 12, 1961, in Leesburg to the late Daniel B. Umbaugh Sr. and Myrtle L. Repass Umbaugh of Leesburg.

She worked for the IGA as an assistant manager in Purcellville for 10 years. She also worked in Middleburg Elementary School's cafeteria until retiring in December 2007.

Survivors include her partner Jon Wisch, of Leesburg; two stepdaughters, Christina Wisch and Jennifer Fitzpatrick, both of Warrenton; a brother, Danny Umbaugh of Hillsboro; a sister, Patty Hardbower of Catlett; and two grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St., Vienna, VA 22183.

Arrangements were by Loudoun Funeral Chapel of Leesburg.
